The first thing to happen is that you start burning fat stores, just as you wanted to do. But those fat stores have been hanging around in your body for years, accumulating toxins. Fat is always where the body puts toxins because it thinks that is where they will do the least damage. But when you start eating a healthy diet and giving your body the building blocks it needs to function strongly, it will want to start taking these toxins on and clearing them out. It’s the wisdom of the body saying, You want to be healthy? OK then, out goes the toxic sludge.

How did you get loaded up on toxins? These toxins come from years of eating processed foods and also from the environment. The preservatives in processed foods are tough for your body to break down and get rid of, and that’s how they ended up stored in your fat in the first place.
