While the reason for decreased fertility around the world is not understood, there are natural strategies that have been proven to increase sperm count, motility and morphology.

In a double-blind placebo-controlled clinical trial, researchers from Iran’s Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences have determined that an oil from a traditional middle eastern remedy significantly boosts semen quality, volume and motility.

The researchers tested 34 men who were considered infertile – as they had sperm counts below 20 million per milliliter, or had less than 30% morphology or less than 25%-50% sperm motility. This condition is also called oligoasthenoteratospermia.
