At the University of Calgary a research team did an in vitro study that showed mercury vapors produced very similar lesions in the brain to those produced by Alzheimer’s disease. Vitamins A,C and E are always crucial in fighting free radicals in the blood, so make sure you eat plenty of fresh produce throughout the day.Another principle to abide by is consuming lots of salmon, tuna, halibut, or cod, all of which are high in DHA and EPA. If you don’t like fish, buy organic eggs from chickens fed with high DHA and EPA feed. Check the writing on the carton to determine whether eggs fit that criteria. DHA is an essential fatty acid that is involved in brain function, and EPA reduces inflammation. Along with that, increase your use of turmeric, a very strong natural anti-inflammatory.
